Ice Gorge 03/12/1892 Alvin, Elmer and J.D. McDonald and George Stabler.
Ice Room 10/6/1984 Located before the low belly crawl to the Lower Colombian Hall.
Ice Storm 12/29/1979 The huge quartz geode has finger-like projections with manganese interiors. Beautiful crystals resemble jewels. Also known as the Crown Jewels. John Scheltens and Dave Springhetti.
Ice Stream Room 06/09/1984 There is a small pure white flowstone deposit like a small stream flowing across this room. Warren Netherton, Jim Pisarowicz and Karen Rosga.
Ida's Washbasin 12/15/1897 Ida's Washbasin was written on the walls in this area. Near BQ4-T.
Igloo Room 12/11/1993 James Wilson, Mike Zawada, & Steve Kumpf
Imagination Room 08/27/1987 Large, domed room where the frostwork and popcorn was really spectacular. You could use your imagination to see just about anything in the room. Jim Nepstad, Jim Pisarowicz and Karen Rosga.

Jim's Balk & Bonk Pit 05/06/1987 Jim Pisarowicz first ascended this tricky climb and then called down for the survey tape after finding that it led to a large room. Jim Nepstad attempted to throw the tape up to him several times (Pisarowicz was over 30 feet above Nepstad). Once when the tape was not caught it came crashing down on Nepstad's helmet. Jim-Bob's Plunge 10/22/1986 Named after Jim Pisarowicz and Bob Kobza who discovered this new area of lakes. To get down to this body of water one has to chimney down an exposed area over the lake. They were sure someone was going to take the plunge one of these days. Jim Pisarowicz and Bob Kobza

Jump Off Pit 04/14/1982 A small pit where this survey jumped off (i.e. began). Roy Lahti, Kathy Harrison, Carl Grundstrom, Steve Matson.

Karlian Crawl 03/04/2000 A chert-ceilinged crawl discovered by the survey party on 03/04/2000. It was named after Joe's dog after a chert concretion was found that strongly resembled a dogs femur. Kilroy's Bridge 04/27/1980 A narrow path or bridge between two pits. Surveyed by Kathy Bogan, Jenny Lee, John Easby, Steve Lonis, Jim Lesh, Eric Hegastead.
Kimball's Music Hall 1901 A high fissure passage lined with boxwork. Later renamed the McKinley Memorial Hall. Could be what is now called Browns Canyon.
King Fissure 11/03/1986 A large fissure where the explorers had to chimney in the upper sections as they explored. Bob Kobza and Jim Pisarowicz.
King Solomon's Mines 07/05/1891 Alvin McDonald, M.E. Crookam and C.F. McBride.

K.M.S. Room
The letters K.M.S. are written on a wall of this room. The letters probably stand for Katie Stabler who explored the cave in the early 1890's. Surveyed by Alan Howard
Knee Bone Room, The 06/10/2000 Named because of its proximity to the Elbow Room. Jim Wilson, Eric Dutton, Leo Thompson, & Greg Glazner
Knights Assembly 03/20/1892 Alvin, Elmer and J.D. McDonald and George Stabler.
Knight's Well 03/29/1892 Named after Ernest A. Knight who discovered this area. Ernest Knight, Alvin McDonald and William Ranger.
Knobby Gates, The 12/6/1987 The passage is a 15-foot high fissure with "knobby" popcorn protruding from the walls at intervals, flowstone, and false floors. This reminded one of the explorers of going through a series of turnstiles. Shaun Larson, Darren Ressler and Karen Rosga.
Kobzapectate 12/15/1986 This passage is a terrible, terrible crawl and hammer dig that Bob Kobza tried to get through but he just plugged up the passage. After breaking through the first dig (three hours) they found another dig and gave up. Bob Kobza and Jim Pisarowicz.
